Chicago’s City Council narrowly approved a resolution Wednesday calling for a permanent cease-fire in the war between Israel and Hamas, with Mayor Brandon Johnson casting the tiebreaking vote.

Chicago is latest U.S. city to approve such a non-binding resolution, following Atlanta, Detroit and San Francisco in recent months.

    If you reply ‘economic sanctions’ as if that has ever functioned at all in the way anyone actually intended for their use, you vastly require educating in this topic.

      It’s not my fault you don’t understand the entire range of diplomatic options in the range from “sitting silently” to “ground invasion”. However, I would refer you to any country with a diplomatic department of any kind, which is all of them. They can probably instruct you on some of the options available.
