“Well we don’t have a supermajority in the Senate, so we still can’t change anything =( We totally would otherwise!”

There is a reason that Trump said he was going to veto everything for the next 2 years if they lost midterms. They can’t pass bills without his signature or a few Republicans on board agreeing.

Trump wants to be liked, and is worried about his legacy.

He is ripe for manipulation, that’s why we’re in Iran. Someone just needs to get in his ear.

Trump. The Veto King, as he referred to himself. Democrats aren’t running the country, yet. Neither is Trump. The next two years will be a satisfyingly quiet lame duck presidency for Orangey the Clown. However, that means the Dems won’t achieve much more than rendering him impotent, either.

They will have a majority in both houses and the presidency and will twiddle their thumbs for 4 years running up deficit spending while the bottom 80% pay more for everything and wages stay stagnant.

Calling it now. This will happen.

I think 2028 and 2032 are going to be the same democrat president, and they will likely control both houses from 2028 to 2032.

GOP won’t have another chance until 2036. That’s how bad Trump fucked up.

The fuckup isnt solely trump, he’s a result of democrats refusing to address our material needs for decades. Charing the face of empire doesn’t change the policies

2028 seems probable, I’m hoping from everything we saw the last 12 years though makes there be a medicare for all or something similar out in place in 2029. Other changes definitely needed but if they land that… maybe 2032, but that’s so far away we have as close of a guess that the U.S. won’t be a nation by then

Edit: accidentally said 2009 instead of 2029, comical tho
