Most Canadians hate Trump, and have no love for what your government is up to lately. But we have no problem with the average American. (Unless you’re a Trump supporter. Then we’ll probably throw eggs at you.)

I’m 50 and forget shit all the time now. I’m pretty sure the human mind was really only meant to carry a finite amount of data. Hundreds or thousands of years worth of memories probably wouldn’t be possible for us to hold onto, with any degree of accuracy.

Gold is no different than any other commodity. Its price is controlled by all the same mechanisms, but is also limited by physical supply constraints, which usually make it more expensive due to the fact that demand is always higher than supply can keep up with.

This makes it inherently inflationary, as a currency. Which is why it is no longer used as a base value for modern currency. There isn’t enough of it to go around.

Who cares if he can’t fire underlings directly, when he can fire their bosses and put someone in place that will fire those underlings for him?

Why are these media companies caving on clear 1st amendment violations? This should be a slam dunk to win in court. Any actions taken by the Trump administration in retaliation to things he doesn’t like, are illegal and need to be challenged. If they aren’t, then you are hammering one more nail in this county’s coffin.

You can’t legislate Constitutional overrides. Legislation either conforms to the Constitution, or it is declared invalid and gets sent back to Congress for reworking. It doesn’t matter if it passes both Houses and gets signed by the President. If the Judiciary rules that it violates the Constitution, it gets thrown out. That’s how this works.
