So glad I got a 12900k. Apparently they beefed up the reliability of the 12th Gen since it was the first gen with the new framework, but crapped out on the subsequent gens. Looking like it’s going to be the best CPU for quite some time.
To be fair, that’s probably the best Overwatch short there is. When I first saw it, I thought “this is better than some of the stuff Pixar puts out”, which back in the day was saying something.

I’m in favor of the filibuster, but the original version. You want to delay legislation? Fine, stand your happy ass up and start talking for hours without stopping. The old fucks wouldn’t be able to do it, and those that can would have to spend days doing nothing else, and getting no other work done. After hour 4 or 5, a senator bought by corporate interests is going to be exhausted and start wondering if what they’re being paid is worth the personal effort. By 24 hours, only those who feel true, personal conviction about their beliefs could continue.

She has many songs that have absolutely blown the fuck up this year. All of those that I listed are currently on the billboard top 100 and she’s had several more that made it on at some point in the last several months.
The thing is, hydrogen is a byproduct of damn near every industry. It’s usually just released into the atmosphere because it’s a pain in the ass to capture and store and isn’t worth much. If it starts being in demand, you can bet your ass they’ll start trying to gather it.

Ok but that’s the thing I’m trying to get at. 15k years ago there was no such thing as Europeans. There weren’t Africans or Asians or Indians. Thats so far back that there are zero ties to modern races. It’s meaningless to try and connect them. It cant belittle one group of people while praising the intellect of another because human migration has made any resemblance to modern humanity from that far back a moot point. Any races from that long ago no longer exist.

Unit 731 was garbage science. About the only thing worthwhile that came from that was learning how better to treat hypothermia. Most of their experiments boiled down to “If we do terrible things to people, how much will they suffer?” with the answer being “A lot.”
It doesn’t take live experiments to learn things like surgery without anesthesia is less effective, or that not treating people infected with horrible diseases causes them to die in agony.
Eugenics. Not the racist BS that was done in the past, but really pushing the limit to see if we can breed super humans. Genetic editing to make humans immune to cancer or disease. Increased lifespan. Resistance to radiation. Smarter. Stronger. Better.
Arguably, this kind of thing is actually somewhat of a necessity if we ever want to explore the stars. We are far too fragile in our current bodies to survive the difficulties and vastness of space.
I don’t get the racism argument. Claiming there was an ancient civilization existed that taught early civilizations isn’t racist. That an ient race doesn’t exist anymore. The early civilizations they claim to have taught don’t exist anymore. Modern day Egyptians have as much to do with ancient Egyptians as they do with modern Polynesians. At a certain point, we have to recognize that we’re talking about so long ago that race is out of the equation.
Like, don’t get me wrong, his claims aren’t scientific and he definitely seems like someone with a theory in search of facts. But I seriously do not get the racism claim. It doesn’t belittle modern societies because no modern society can really claim ownership of shit that happened over 10,000 years ago. It’s insane to think otherwise.
