It’s both marketing and psyop. Prepping the populace for what will soon be commonplace.

Worked for me. Never officially diagnosed, but I know I’m neurospicy because my son was assessed and I tick basically every same box as him.
Can’t stop the people pleasing, it’s the only reason I don’t have 0 people left in my life. I already don’t have any friends.
Also imagine the burn if you vomit up stomach acid with pH 1.0
Instant free ranged weapon!
Can’t we identify the genes responsible for their stomach formation and CRISPR them unto humans, theoretically giving them the same abilities?

That was never the objective in the first place. Blanket surveillance and getting people used to the idea of zero privacy, ever again.

Why wouldn’t he? He didn’t suffer any consequences from all the previous times.

Same across the world. A few weeks ago a former prime minister of Belgium was stopped going through a red light. In normal circumstances, this means you immediately lose your license for 15 days while you have to appear before a judge. Judge completely waived his liability, citing his “standing” as a former PM. Which to me translates to “this dude is above you plebs, he can do as he wants as long as he’s not too egregious about it”.
Feel this in my bones. When people started getting cut at my previous job, it was invariably the ones who brought joy to the workplace. The ones who made a difference between a job and a career. Apparently joy doesn’t bring in any revenue, so…

I was the only one cut from my team of about 10 for AI. I had been there the longest (10 years). It’s all very transparent, but there’s nothing we can do against it.

I already got cut. Lost my 10-year IT job to AI last year. Now I’m working in a factory, packaging waffles 8 hr/day. The irony of me doing drudgery that could be fairly easily done by a machine, while a machine is doing something that requires agency, decisions and creativity, is not lost on me.
I want to get off mr. Bones Wild Ride. Forever.
The whole Stop Killing Games debacle clearly showed us that the EU, despite its rhetoric, isn’t interested in championing consumer rights in the slightest.
GTA5 was out for like three years on PC before I bothered with it. I found it to be… fairly mediocre. There’s nothing in GTA6 that would make me feel otherwise. I’ll eventually play it… at great discount, or not at all.
It’s true. If you take the time to get to know your cat, you will pick up on their specific mannerisms and meanings. There’s a very clear distinction in a “greeting” meow or one made in pain or fear. I love getting to know all their little quirks and personalities.

Sadly, there’s dozens of millions of those.

Willing to bet a nonzero amount of Western journalists/activists’ phones are equally compromised. In 2026 you simply have to assume that a smartphone is a 24/7 spy center trained on you if you’re of any importance at all.

Tobacco is low grade radioactive as well.
Major respect for taking one for the team.

This reads like the beginning of a long questchain in Cyberpunk 2077.

Lovecraft deserves some redemption. First of all he wasn’t especially racist, just the “normal” amount for his time (take with a grain of salt please!). More importantly he significantly mellowed out in his later years primarily due to exposure to talented black writers which made him realize the error of his ways.
But yeah, I wouldn’t ask him to name my void cat.
Any survivors?
