You sound like an addict defending their drug of choice because it stops their shaking.
Saying Facebook is useful for networking is like saying meth is useful for staying awake. Maybe technically true, but it ignores the costs of getting there. The reality is there are countless healthier ways of achieving your same objectives of using Facebook that doesn’t facilitate the enormous social costs associated with using their platform. Usefulness cannot be measured on one aspect alone. Or rather, something having one useful function does not make it useful when balanced against its cost. So yes, I still argue that Facebook is utterly useless, whether you take me seriously or not.

I deleted my Facebook a decade ago and haven’t once felt like I was missing out on something. Anything you find “useful” about Meta, I promise you can find on another platform or medium.

The only thing I would challenge from your post is the assumption that “most” pedophiles were abused as children. Unless new studies have come out recently, and they very well might have, I believe about 30% of perpetrators were themselves victims.

That was a good article thanks for sharing. While I think that he is absolutely right, I do think that even after the bubble pops there will still be a market for AI. It’s being integrated into the medical field, the legal field, and the tech field. All of which have the money to prop up an AI model. I’m guessing AI is used heavily in manufacturing as well, although I don’t know that for sure. That being said, the author of your article probably knows more than me.

Perhaps not.

I started and stopped playing it a couple of times before I really got hooked. What worked for me was watching the YouTube channel Many a True Nerd start his playthrough. Watching somebody else use the controls and navigate the UI and stuff really helped me get over the “fire hose of information” you’re bombarded with at the start. But that’s just me.

I just made it to Act 2 of Baldurs Gate 3. I’m obsessed.

Hey now, they can also vilify any justice, no matter how righteous.
This makes way more sense.

I want to be on the list! ACAB

Same.
More specifically, his Supreme Court.
