It is nearly instantly. Heat is generated in the pot directly, not in/on the stove, so there is nothing else which stores the energy, like the plates in older ones.
I installed a new system wih a 4070 TI Super as well, but with openSuse. It installed the drivers right away during installations, no issues, gaming flawless and fluid (no HDR I’m steam tho). Interesting that the experiences are so different

I just did that.
Gaming is OK, Multimedia is OK. Video conferencing with screen share is a bit problematic. I miss some functions from MS Excel. I do not need Adobe products.
But in general I am happy. (Opensuse Tumbleweed).
Happier than 3 years ago, when i first tried to go Linux full time. (Ubuntu)

Since you are on Linux just Start it in a Docker container locally and you are golden :)
I flatten them on the plate with my hand and then put the jelly on top of it, similar to bread/sandwich.
