  • More context needed. Sometimes my kids are savages, so yelling does occur on occasion. They’re usually pretty great, though.

Edit: yikes, people took my comment way too seriously. I don’t literally think my kids are savages, jfc. No shit, you shouldn’t yell at your kids. I typically don’t. But, I am not perfect, and neither is literally every single parent. We’re humans and there are days where we have shorter breaking points and our feelings get the best of us, especially when your kids are being super energetic, chaotic, and not listening to anyone. The important thing isn’t NOT yelling 100% of the time, it’s apologizing and explaining what happened to them afterwards when it does get the better of you.

  • I really tried to enjoy RDR2. It’s got some great qualities, and the acting, writing, and cutscenes are phenomenal. But… The gameplay… I’m all for slowburn walking simulator type games (e.g. I loved Detroit Become Human, among others).

But with RDR2, the world is so massive and yet there was no sense of excitement when finding stuff. You get just about all your upgrades fairly early in the game. There’s no sense of character gameplay progression. And after just a few hours of traveling around, it felt like I quickly had seen all the random event variations on the roads/trails (e.g. stop bandits hijacking a wagon, robberies, etc). I don’t know, it just felt like a hyper realistic GTA5: Western, but without all the plethora of goofy shenanigans that game has.

  • So far, there’s no male birth control pill on the market. But there are two types of birth control pills in the works: YCT-529 and dimethandrolone undecanoate. YCT-529 is a hormone-free male birth control pill that aims to stop your body from making sperm by targeting the vitamin A signaling that makes sperm production possible.

Researchers studied the effects of this male birth control pill on animals. They found that in mice, after four weeks of use, it was 99% effective in preventing pregnancies. In primates, sperm counts dropped in just two weeks of use. Researchers also completed a phase 1 human study to test how safe and tolerable the drug is. Now, they’re recruiting participants for a phase 1B/2A study, but more research is needed before this drug can hit the market.

The other male birth control pill, dimethandrolone undecanoate (DMAU), may also be available as an injectable. This one is a hormonal birth control, meaning it impacts your male sex hormones, causing them to temporarily stop your body from making sperm.

In a phase 1 study, participants took DMAU for 28 days. But the participants weren’t relying on DMAU for birth control, so more research is needed. Even though a phase 2 trial is in the works, it’s not complete.

Huh. I thought the trials had been completed, but I guess not. Feels like I remember hearing about them like 4-5+ years ago.

  • Not to defend the antagonistic guy above, but you’re either extremely unlucky or not being fully truthful. I’ve had nothing but Samsung flagships for over a decade and have had literally zero issues besides minor annoyances, especially with the Note line the last 5-6 years. iPhones aren’t built poorly, so I won’t rag on them. But to use your purely anecdotal evidence to declare Apple as offering a superior quality phone to all Android vendors, it feels dishonest as fuck.

  • Anon is just making a fake post. Literally no college would authorize this type of shit and I’d argue there could be grounds for a civil lawsuit if they did. Paying them tens of thousands of dollars and one of their professors admits to just auto failing students because there’s too many in the class? Nah, I’ve attended 3 different schools before I graduated (I moved a lot), and every single one would drop you before class even began or within the first week if the class was too full.

If this did actually happen to OP, I can guarantee there’s more to the story they’re not telling us. But I’m going to assume it’s made up or extremely exaggerated/altered.
