21·29 days agoThere’s gotta be some people who don’t give a shit but I haven’t really met any. I don’t know anyone who’s taken a trip to the US during this admin and many who’ve cancelled trips. Even my elderly mom is using apps to avoid American products. It’s definitely not just the typical folks you’d expect to be calling for boycotts.

142·1 month agoThere’s nothing about Ubuntu’s proposed use of AI that seems bad at all. Using it to improve accessibility is a good thing, especially when it’s open source, local-only, and sandboxed. I can’t see how having high quality speech-to-text would be a bad decision. Much of that stuff is probably not even considered “AI” by most people.

Cuts both ways though. It could have also discouraged voters further to the right from voting because it was a lost cause.
Those are all examples of Facebook failing to moderate, not creating content.

The label is true for a serving size of zero. At 0.25g, it’s 0.25g of fat and 2.2 calories. The fat content is the exact same as the serving size and the calories should not round to zero. You literally can’t use the label to figure out any of the numbers if you use different amounts. It’s no different than not having a label at all.
The prosecution isn’t in charge of the sentence though. He is still more likely to get a shorter sentence by confessing and pleading guilty.

I don’t think it would make sense for them to with steam. GFN is available everywhere steam is. They also don’t use app store billing services and payment isn’t made “in app.” So they aren’t paying either Apple or Google.
Indeed. The hardware renting isn’t free.
But people often seem to think that games are locked to gfn. You’re just renting hardware to play games you own.
It’s available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. They’re not really monetizing anything in the way I think you’re talking about because it’s not a storefront. They don’t sell games and games aren’t tied to gfn because it’s not a platform. You really just rent hardware from them.
