Heather Feather and Jellybean Green are two ASMRtists I miss. Heather stopped years ago after her father passed away, and JB left more recently as it was too taxing on her.

Been playing almost exclusively with Slayer’s Week One, and while it has some extra jank with 42 Stable (the plane crash in particular), it’s still so damn fun. Half the time even just finding basic exploits with the NPC AI. I’m really tempted to start a run with the chaos mod to see how I fare in the 7 seconds I remain alive 🧟‍♂️

I work IT in an Apple-heavy environment, and this was the worst to find out. I can’t recall if it’s just OneDrive doing it or iCloud, but either way, makes it a bitch to backup resigned/terminated users’ folders when I’m offline or whatever.

Been using Overmorrow for a little while now, and I really like the aesthetics of the UI. Pulls data by default from open-meteo.

It’s definitely a bit old and janky by today’s standards, and I can’t say it’d hold up well, but Homefront: The Revolution is a decent romp against Nazi-esque NK takeover. Takes place in a pseudo-Philadelphia warzone and has some cool features. Even if it ends up not clicking with you, at least stick around until you can play Timesplitters 2 on the arcade cabinet.

Just did much the same with Farmers (was with them for 10 years). Last accident was around 2018, not at fault. Went from a '14 Prius to '24 Ioniq 5, and my premium went from ~$1300 to ~$2500, the excuse being “EVs are more expensive to repair”. Which I get, the batteries are pretty expensive. But that’s an insane increase. I switched to Progressive for both auto and home, and they got my premiums down to ~$1100 and ~$1600 respectively (home was just shy of $2k). We’ll see if the decision was worthwhile.

Was taking a short road trip this past weekend, and got a chance to pass two; one decked out in a horrible purple camo pattern… You can bet right that the bird was flipped at both (as well as many, many other Teslas).

That’s worrisome about the wipers, as is the telemetry. I think my dashboard is Android based, so I wonder if there’s any way to sideload APKs for AdAway or something similar. I managed to net a '24 Ioniq 5 Limited, and due to overflow of repaired/rejuvenated ICCU buybacks, got it for $25k. In my case, it was just the 12v battery that needed replacement.

When I first typed this up, I knewsomeone would make that quip.

Just got mine 2 weeks ago and it truly is a game changer. I don’t think I could see myself going back to an ICE vehicle ever again.

Oh neat! Can’t say I’ve heard of it, and for a while there I was very much leaning towards Mint, until they were bought by Tmo. Ryan should have fought for it, Deadpool style 😆

Really liking what I’m seeing. I’d def rather spend $70/mo than the ~$110 I am now. I personally just can’t justify it for how little I use my phone, literally Lemmy, Newpipe and Fennec, with a side of fin account apps.

We have been grandfathered into a Simple Choice Plan for ~13 years and just switched over to whatever their comparable current plan is, and only saved $10 (woohoo). What’d you go with? I was looking into prepaid with Tmo but they’ve been in quite the steady decline for a while now.

Personally never have, but with all the movement below, I’m certain somebody hurt theirs.
