Primary hosting, but they can always have a fallback for at-risk projects or even just use p2p. Of course that already increases the risk of a potentially hacked provider/repo or just fake/malware versions in the wild

And the Macarena before that, even though they probably know knew about two words from it (heyyyy Macarena)

I have AC but haven’t tried it in VR yet for some reason.
But to add to the (space) flying game category, Eve: Valkyrie is pretty fun for a quick thrill

I really want the Frame. The Index is one tech and cords suck. Oculus actually did a lot of things right but I just can’t justify throwing my money at Meta…

They fed them on the Internet including libraries of pirated material. It’s like drinking from a fountain at a sewage plant

Yeah, a lot of people seem to think that these companies built these AI’s by buying or building some sort of special training set/data, when in reality no such thing really existed.
They’ve basically just scraped every bit of data they can. When it comes to big corps, at least some of that data is likely from scraping customer’s data. There’s also scraping of the Internet in general, including sites such as Reddit (which is a big reason why they locked down their API, they wanted to sell that data) but many have also been caught with a ton of 'pirated ’ data from torrents etc.
I’m sure there was a certain amount of sludge in customers’ synced files, and sites like Reddit, but I’d also hazard a guess that the stuff grabbed from torrents etc likely had some truly heinous materials that they simply added to what was getting force-fed to AI, especially the early ones

I wonder how much of that info is being used by ICE in places like MN right now

Personally, I kinda like companies that have an “open source contract” with a fixed date (although such could use better enforcement).
Have a period of time when the product source is closed, and get money for it. After a certain amount of money or time, release the source to the product. Then move on to something new, rinse, and repeat.

Yeah I’ve had certbot mess up a few times, though more often it was the scripts that actually shuttle the updated certs to their proper locations and restart services after updating
Big tech in general. At this point the only one I still have faith in not too fuck over customers “because they can” is Valve.

Agreed. Multi-pairing is such an underrated feature. It’s especially great when it comes with a hardware selector (in case you’ve got multiple devices paired in range).
I picked up a Logitech mouse that pairs up to 3 devices and has a button+LED’s on the bottom to switch between. It’s awesome
Jokes aside it kinda is, but as a white guy who actually like hot food I’ve also been known to say “and don’t make it white guy spicy, be real”

No, corporate greed is ruining everything with AI.
Because you know if they built a super-AI that give them perfect instructions on how to build Earth into a paradise, but it would require they give up 1/4 of their wealth, they’d be reaching for the reset button before it finished printing them out…

On Linux I’ve found it tends to be
1-2GB console onle, or very basic GUI 4GB desktop manager GUI 8GB+ GUI and modern tabbed web browsers (they’re memory hogs). Some games 16GB+ Many games from Steam etc

And because they cheated and were allowed to get away with it
In my case, I suppose it would depend on the type of coffee I’m supposedly drinking. Brewed I get a full cup, but there’s already a pre-measured instant/packet variety that makes about a half cup per packet.
Coffee cup (half full), laptop

For larger RAM chips if went up - sometimes more than double - in half a year. I can literally look at the RAM I purchased in June and it’s more than twice that price now
It’s worth noting that it’s not just consumer PC RAM sales are affected. A lot of electronics use RAM and a lot are and will affected.
Phones are one. Probably TVs. Businesses buy computers too and I’d imagine that the suddenly increased price isn’t going to go well for them.
