This is a feature on recent samsung oneui os. Not sure if it’s been copied or ported. Maybe search on github or F-Droid.
It works with Mull and Fennec for me.
OK… let’s adjust the doomsday clock again.
I understand what you’re saying, but it’s not necessarily a Firefox issue. I use Boost and the boost developer has given an option to bypass the in-app and custom tabs browsers and open directly in the external browser. See the screenshot I linked
In that case I’d submit an issue on the Jerboa github.
Yeah, I’m saying jerboa should have an option to open links in an external browser. And then they wild open in your default browser and not the in-app webview browser. I’m not sure if jerboa has this, but I use boost and it does.
If you’re on android (which is what it sounds like) then the app can use the webview api which will render in a webview browser, not your selected browser. The app would need to give you the option to open webpages externally if you didn’t want to use the webview browser.
Its already available for download and use, but I can’t find the source anywhere other than a Python proof of concept project that beeper purchased the rights to to make this app.
There shouldn’t be any back end beeper servers with this implementation if they really do what they say and interface directly with Apple servers.
So if the app will be open source like they say, can’t we just build it ourselves and not pay $2/mo?
Looks like Microsoft Pluton is a newly implemented security chip in some 2022+ processors. Definitely not ideal, but I imagine there are already people working to bypass arising issues.
It’s concerning to me, but I’ve yet to see it. I stream from my NAS to a plex client though, so maybe it’s only windows playback.
They’re lowering the cost of the remaining LCD models
Gilmore Girls is a classic feel good show that I’m surprised hasn’t been mentioned. Its pretty campy occasionally, but sometimes that’s what you need.
Also Ed.
Does that affect your battery much? The warning pushed me away from trying it.
