Because like most turboposters, cm0002 is too lazy to delete their duplicates. Damn doubledippers.

That hurts.
Second quote sounds like a huge strawman. Did anyone acutally say anything remotely similar that anon heard or read about?
That said, I can kinda see it. SM64 looks super weird if you’re not used to the style, and it adds that “early 3d graphics” weirdness to it that younger people might only know from horror games. And TBH Mario games have always been kinda trippy.

3·7 天前99 000 vs 140 000 is quite the difference. And this isn’t even the cheapest microcar, not even the cheapest 4-wheeled microcar (e.g. Opel Rocks-E starts at 8400€ in Germany).
they are nothing more than a moped that requires a drivers license here
In Germany, even a Fiat Topolino can be driven with a moped license.

11·7 天前Driving only 5 kph slower than 10 kph slower definitely makes a difference, plus even without cruise control not every car is going 5 kph over the limit. Depends a lot on the place though, there are probably lots of places where it’s common to go 60+ in a 50 kph zone.

2·7 天前Is that real 120 000 DK car electric, though?
Does this “stand on your own” thing include not reading survivalist books, bringing maps or assorted tools? Because that’s what I would do if I wanted to live in the wilds. The “he was literally suicidal” theory is a much better explanation for his actions IMO.

15·8 天前This vehicle is pretty cool if you might otherwise use scooters or electric bicycles, but IDK if I’d be comfortable riding these kinds of vehicles if I have to share the road with those riduculous oversized pickup trucks that USians like. Especially if some stretches of your commute are on roads with a >50kph speed limit.
I actually live in the EU, and I don’t really understand why the law limits these vehicles to 45 kph instead of the super common (including within city limits) speed limit of 50; it would be a lot safer to be able to go the speed that everyone else on the road is supposed to go (though most cars are driving over the limit anyway). It feels like the law is deliberately endangering the drivers of these vehicles.
fishy af, I expect some kind of intelligence/secret service fuckery. What kind of authoritarian leader dies on the first day of a war?

2·9 天前Surely, we can figure out a way to feed artists without requiring a full-on revolution. Changing the way we pay artists is a LOT easier than doing a revolution and implementing a new system that actually has staying power.

2·10 天前IMO it should be extended to commercial use (if we keep doing commerce with things that can be copied 1:1, anyway). Of course not 1:1 copies under a different name, but there should definitely be more freedom for sampling and remix (in a general sense, not just in the context of music). The current laws are extremely restrictive. Guy in my country has been having legal battles for over two decades over sampling half a measure of drums (Pelham vs Kraftwerk).
We really need to figure out a way to pay artists that doesn’t come with unnecessary restrictions on art.
I think Doom 3 is already in the period where 3d matured enough to not be quite as extreme. If you look at games from 2001 (my go-to 3d game for that period is Gothic 1, which is a good game, despite having somewhat unintuitive controls and badly-aged graphics), the difference to Doom 3 is quite pronounced. Though id always had very good and resource-efficient graphics.
Anon is definitely on to something here. And nevermind the big hits, I bet there’s a ton of good games that were overlooked back then.
I admit that I’d have a hard time going back to 2001 3d graphics, though. Looked kinda horrible, depending on how stylized the graphics were.

1·14 天前It’s basically overprized placebo, but the placebo effect is real. Honestly not sure how well this translates to company profits; shareholder value can definitely work like that, though - it increases because people think that whatever the company is doing will increase profits, not because it actually does.
We don’t know whether the guy already tried saying ‘no’ in a nice way, though. Sometimes people just don’t get the hint, especially if one or both people in the interaction are neurodiverse.
Wouldn’t quite call this “gigachad” behavior, but it’s good and healthy to not jump on literally anyone who offers, even if you aren’t particularly interested. I suspect anon sees this as “gigachad” because they’re steeped in manosphere/incel ideology (unsurprising for a 4chan user).
Definitely autistic, possibly including the woman.

1·15 天前I fear that the only thing that reaching out to the artist/label would do is paint a target on my back … if it was a smaller artist, maybe, but it’s a big contemporary artist on a major label and I’m pretty much a beginner.
This community in particular doesn’t seem like one where you’re supposed to share your stuff, but considering how few posts there are we could change that.
Anon says “women are NPCs”
It would be perfect if it wasn’t for that fuck-ugly ‘T’ separator between date and time that also makes it harder to read.

Would have been pretty funny (to those in the know) if he managed to do it with confidence. Shame.
Also damn, this Greentext is 10 years old. Doing this nowadays in highschool would definitely net you a room full of blank stares (best case) even if you don’t botch the delivery.
