IMO this is more of being Israel’s lap dog. Given initial confusion what to say (whether US is involved or not) I think taco observed that their attacks were successful so he wanted to put his name under it. He sent almost 5,000 troops to LA to squash 1,000 protesters with false pretenses that country is at war. They had nothing to do and are still in LA even after the riots (that happened on just 5 blocks of the city) ended.
If Iran (or even false flag attack pretending to be Iran) would happen he would suddenly have excuse to put troops in other cities.

I hope so too, but they picked July 17, middle of the week. Women’s march decided to still organize protest on July 4th, which is better but still many perks might be out of town (there were more people on April 5 than on 19th for example)
