Even if no Republican runs against him, the 22nd amendment exists, paving the way for a Democratic White House regardless of how many votes he gets. Even if he has to be a write-in choice, I think there are still a lot of people who would do exactly that, writing him in. All it is is throwing a vote to the Democrats.

Honestly, I support it. It’ll be like the election of 1912 where Roosevelt and Taft split the Republican vote enough that the Democrat Wilson was elected.
