        AP is the most garbage “news organization” in existence, and I despise the way they’ve set themselves up as this decentralized entity that somehow both protects them from any actual accountability while also granting them legitimacy as a neutral arbiter

        Every other news source cites AP completely uncritically as if their articles just pop up out of the ether and are simply a list of the facts, when in reality they’re a right wing mess

        Possibly. But they could have an ally in France this time. No way the west will let a country like Niger, which produces uranium, gold and oil, unattended.
