Like 45° or below. Something that won’t break easily or damage the Steam Deck and is not toxic or won’t cause cancer somehow

Ah, a better option for you I just thought of. Look into the DeckMate, it’s an attachment that can be connected to different things, and comes with attachments to stick to other things.

For example, you can have a portable battery connected to your Deck. But also, a VESA compatible back that you can just screw into a regular Monitor Mount, and boom, Steam Deck stand with any angle you want at roughly any height you want.

Bonus, you have a lot of things you can mount the deck to!

Is the official dock not what you’re looking for? I’m not sure I know what you’re looking for.

Do you mean, 45 degrees the angle of the screen?

Maybe something like a Nintendo Switch or Wii U stand, there are ones that have adjustable backs

A surprising number of plastic/rubber components used in cheap electronics accessories will offgas. You notice an odd smell, that’s literally petrochemicals entering your nostrils by the millions. Some of them can mimic biomolecules like hormones. I’m not saying they’re necessarily all harmful but there needs to be a lot more research.

i have a 7 in 1 usb c hub from anker which is use with the deck and a hdmi monitor the deck lies flat on the table if i use the hub.

I don’t know if it’s more or less toxic than the dota2 games.
