I’ve been reading about dems making progress on “gun control” through the minimal “background checks” path since Clinton’s brady bill passed in 1993 and supposedly gave us the same exact thing. But somehow here we are 32 years later celebrating it like its new and was ever going to make any dent in the real problem.
Harris was talking lovingly about her glock on the campaign trail. What a fine example for children everywhere. The centrists have never led the party anywhere in terms of gun control, and never will. They dont care to solve the problem.
It’s almost like people keep electing the party who oppose gun control every other cycle, even worse in more than a decade we haven’t even given the gun control party a full 50 seats on the senate.
Its almost like Obama and Biden barely tried to do any gun control. Just hollow uncontroversial measures for political points labeled as “gun control”.
Biden expanded money for counseling and school drills, and banned 3d printed guns. Its hard to imagine a more meager performance on gun control. And Harris was about to dump it entirely, talking about her glock ownership on the campaign trail like an idiot.
