    Matthew 5:34-37

34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one

So who introduced the oath of secrecy?

      True rawdogging was limewire.

Once after 3 days of downloading a concert video, it turned up to be some random porn.

Anyone who is comfortable conversing within the confines of their own mind for hours on end without pause or distraction, is either a sage or a psychopath in my opinion

I’m a weird psycho then. When the infotainment screens are available, I like watching other people’s screens. I’ve seen The Spy Who Dumped Me twice with no audio. I think I’ve got a pretty good grasp of the plot though.

I kind of have trouble not watching the other screens, if they happen to fall within my field of view.

I watched the new Count of Monte Cristo on my flight to Europe recently. Good movie, my only problem is that they didn’t treat Mercedes’ final encounter with the Edmond right. Honestly that part made me so angry, they did everything else so right but the main greatest lesson that Edmond and the reader must learn and they let him get away with it… (some things cannot be forgiven) Oh well. The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my all time favorites, so I am probably a little more critical then I should be.

So that is only a 3 hour movie and the flight was 10 hours… at about the 5 hour mark, I notice someone in front of me just start the movie… I watched it again on their screen.

Then I watched some other movie on someone elses screen. I have no idea what it was but it was actually a good experience.

So long story short, I understand that appeal and I might watch other peoples screens more often on long flights. Its not bad at all. Especially when they turn on subtitles

That actually sounds rather pleasant, minus the book. Air travel is great for books.

I mean soon as you add the book, it’s an entirely different proposition because now you have entertainment, so you’re traveling like a sane person.

Though personally I don’t know if I could concentrate with the noise. ANC and podcast for me, I’ll just accept that I’m less cultured.

It’s the jeans that kill it for me. Those are work pants and sitting still and cramped in stiff denims would make me unhappy. Especially on long flights.

Yeah, some jeans are stiff but I’ve definitely got a couple older pair that are softer and that I’d much rather wear than slacks.

But if I REALLY wanted to be uncomfortable on a plane… I still have my mawashi from when I briefly did amateur sumo!

Is it really that hard to just not look at the phone? I moved all of my internet entertainment to my laptop and I only ever use my phone for calling or government stuff.
