I (32 F) like the look/vibe (love the flannel/plaid look especially). I also like how intimidating they can be. I’m not sure how I’d go about trying to find one, though.

      I clearly meant that they adopted black culture in terms of mannerisms, dress, and speech.

        That’s the dictionary definition of Chav:

        a young person of a type characterized by coarse and brash behavior (with connotations of low social status).

          Note, this says “connotations of low social status.” The “urban black” culture usually has this same connotation. It isn’t a rule that people from either of these groups have low social status, it’s just associated with it. This is not racist, though the association could be viewed as problematic, but that is a cultural issue, not an issue with what the user above said.
