Well that’s concerning. Hopefully they’re able to get home safely if that’s what’s needed. Without knowing more, it’s at least good to hear that their condition is stable.

An American flew up in Soyuz, so there wouldn’t be be a concern of leaving the USOS uncrewed. Crew-12 is NET Feb 15, so there wouldn’t be a ton of down time.

Hopefully future stations will have better medical facilities.
