In what world is Palestine leftist? I dunno the politics of Ukraine but still they are not political ideals, they are victims of war and genocide.middle eastern politics do have lots of undesirable stuff like say being pretty anti queer (know this as a Turkish person) which doesn’t justify genocide and is used in propaganda justifying the genocide. We should help Palestinian communities and fight the genocide within our means but that doesn’t mean that the system inplace was leftist. We don’t support them cause they are leftist we support them cause they are being fucking genocided
I recognise Ukrainians as victims of US manipulation. I’ve no love for the Russian regime, but understanding the events that lead up to the war help me to recognise why Russia invaded and how it could have been avoided.
Subscribing to the idea that Russians are evil and want to take over the world simply opens you up to further manipulation by US hegemony, and will result in you supporting yet more wars that aren’t in your interest.
If your political analysis can be distilled into a four point compass then you are not a serious person.
I think a civil war on their border that risks spilling over into their territory and threatened their economic relationship with neighbouring EU gives them plenty of reasons to intervene. Especially since they had been actively trying to end the conflict by negotiation with Ukraine for near on a decade, but whose negotiated treaties (the 3 Minsk agreements) kept being violated by Ukrainian fascist paramilitaries.
That isn’t imperialism. It’s the actions of a rational actor and was entirely predictable, especially because Russia consistently stated their intentions throughout.
I’d say our politics is somewhere around center-right, but it’s difficult to make systemic changes during the war. Plus, as OP said, this is more about people supporting the listed countries. Russia is definitely nowhere near leftist, either.

This is who support them.
So the libleft supports Palestine and Ukraine, the authleft Palestine and Russia, etc.
Oh, you weren’t shit posting. 😬
That’s your instances thing.
I would be owned, except that you unironically posted a political compass.
Well do you disagree with this?
Do you not support Russia and instead recognise that Ukraine are the victims?

The idea is simple; no one should have invaded Ukraine.
Russia has zero right to invade a neighbouring country because they didn’t like something , that is imperialism.

So a lot of words for “yes, I agree with you, your compass is spot-on”, then?
I’m happy with how I’ve expressed myself. I’ll let readers make up their mind.
What’s the bet every upvote on that comment is a Hex troll? Normal people don’t subscribe to their shit takes.
Oooh, now it makes sense!
