yeah, the reason i compared google and apple is because it’s like the only two options available, as far as i know there aren’t any linux phones which can actually work as phones, best we can do is degoogled android and very few people use it
Friend had the fairphone, without google (apparently you can choose with or without and she went full in), seemed to work okay with some small hiccups from time to time but nothing special.

Would love to have a bare Linux on it for sure though. I’d use it as my main PC lol.
