In college I had an apartment where you could climb out the living room window onto the rooftop of the city block I lived on. It had a great view of the downtown nightlife and no other apartments on the block had the same access. I could wander the rooftops of an entire city block. It was my own urban oasis. And it was awesome.
This coming from someone who grew up in, and is most comfortable in, the Northwoods.
Not sure who downvoted you, absolutely everyone would make use of that access/space.
Hell, I’d try my best to throw parties/get-togethers on the roof you could only get to through my apartment.
Sorry, not my cup of tea. I need my acre of grass and view of water and mountains. But it’s a good photo.
I am too, but there’s something about urban sprawl that also kind of appeals to me in a weird way.
