      Check you’re not just seeing the thumbnail, it’s a good size for me. I think sone clients default to the small view unless you click them or similar.

        I’m on desktop and it’s not very good. I thought my net was crapping out until I saw the comments

          That’s really bizzare, on lemmy instances, even the poster’s home instance, it’s tiny and blurry, but on piefed instances (I’ve tried piefed.social and piefed.world) it shows up fine. Just obe of the mysteries of the fediverse I guess.

            This is the 2nd time today I’ve seen lemmy users mention this issue while i see the full yes on piefed. Must be a bug in lemmy i guess.

              I think it’s legit just displaying the thumbnail image as the main image for some reason, so yeah probably a compression algorithm shit the bed. Never seen this on Lemmy before though, kinda curious what broke to cause this.

            It looks fine on this instance. Maybe it’s a .world media storage thing going on.
