The Pentagon said Thursday it will livestream the military’s first firing squad execution in decades, allowing the public to watch as the man who killed 13 people in a 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood is put to death.
I can remember when in most circumstances, even (most) conservatives thought something like “chop-chop square” in Saudi Arabia was disgusting and barbaric.

Oh sure, they’d also concern-troll about “Shariah law” - they’d pretend to wring their hands over how gays are thrown off rooftops or women stoned or whatever in other cultures that have out of control religious rightwing extremism driving lots of hatred, but really they are ultimately quite jealous, because they want to do that here.
