The most successful political propaganda in our time was convincing millions of people that caring for others and the planet was somehow a threat to America.

It doesn’t make the argument more compelling to an outside viewer who doesn’t already agree with what’s being said.

IMO it is important not to address the AmeriKKKan project in the language the entity prefers. This is the only platform where I get to authentically speak my actual opinions about the world. I steadfastly use this limited platform to assert that the AmeriKKKan project is so fractally unworthy of respect that I will not even grant it the dignity of correct spelling.

If you like think that my approach is too emphatic (what I suspect you mean by “Hexbear-like”), go do it your way. We need a diversity of tactics to show people that AmeriKKKa is an enemy of all life.

People on .world get really weird at me for spelling out AmeriKKKan every time, and people find “AmeriKKKa” slightly less cringe 🤷. Also it renders as an emoji-sized flag (i.e. same size as 🇵🇸) in my client.

On my end, all the emojis are gigantic. Sure, you’re free to express your hatred of the United States in any way you like, including spelling it as AmeriKKKa and spamming burning flags, just don’t expect it to sway anybody or accomplish anything other than looking like you’re not being serious. I myself can’t take you seriously when you do this, despite fully agreeing with what you’re saying about the country. It just looks silly.
