One day, you look out your window as you’re getting your morning coffee…to see 100 colorful individuals setting up tents and raising barricades…across the T-intersection at the end of your cul-da-sac.
About 8 million Americans took to the streets in March to protest Trump. About 500,000 took to the streets in France on the 17th. In both cases, there’s disagreements about the real number of participants, but overall the math indicates similar levels of participation.
But the US has 1/10 the population density as France. Americans were spread out over a much larger area, so participation appeared lower.
You mean a country being 1,600% larger than another makes it harder for people to mobilize??
You mean you don’t understand that higher population density and narrow urban streets makes it easier to riot?
I want to set up an occupation protest free zone…at the entrance to a randomly selected suburban cul-da-sac.

It’s gonna be one of those days…

Ohio and France have the same population density.
