This is a bit different than the title implies:
Austrian police are investigating a German man aged 21 on suspicion of endangering public safety, after his 17-year-old female friend was left stranded on Germany’s highest mountain Zugspitze in sub-zero temperatures.
“Don’t worry son, it’s all downhill from here”
Except it was a 21 year old dude quite literally dumping his girlfriend.
It’s sadly a phenomenon in he mountaineering community, men leaving their female partners behind. The name eludes me atm.
