  • Sadly the older I get the less interested I am in reflex-heavy action titles.

I know Control had some welcome accessibility options including 100% aim assistance and 1 shot kills (that didn’t affect achievements!), but uhhh, at that point I’m just like what am I doing here?

I want a multiplayer game with roles for slow farts or non-sweaty people. Phasmophobia’s onto something with having someone sit in a van. Division almost had it with that tablet role they pulled before the game was released, where someone could just be on a tablet and buff/debuff people.

I’d love to see a 5 player spaceship game like No Man’s Sky where a ship can have someone just watching engines or shields and doing their station with no stress about much else.

…this comment digressed, but uhhh, all’s that to say this game looks good for people into it, but sadly not for me.

  • I watch some trash reality TV and always find it kind of funny how contestants spend a long amount of time internalizing the stress of the situation the show they agreed to be on is putting on them.

Half of Love Island is “Why did you kiss them?” “Why did you go on a date with that person?” “Why did you break up with me?” Guys it’s a SHOW. The SHOW is making you go through these completely unnatural circumstances!

And then I think about real life and it’s like “why don’t I have energy? why am I so depressed? why can’t I be more productive?” …guys it’s CAPITALISM/SOCIETY. SOCIETY is making you go through these completely unnatural circumstances!

…except of course I didn’t agree to be on this show.

I mean memes can be a form of propaganda/there’s a venn diagram there, but considering there isn’t much subtlety in this one and some others— and I’d like to think I’m not in the mindset to take anything of this caliber from the right as any form of truth— “meme” is a considerably more apt descriptor.

  • At least it’s not overdraft fees.

I mean yes they’re trying to bring those back, but like… for now anyways.

I’ll never forget one day when my sister’s bank logged her charges first, then her paycheck all on the same day.

It took one phone call from her to say “uh, can’t you just reverse the two and take away those $300 in overdraft fees,” and they obliged!

…and that’s probably why that lovely bank is out of business/got bought by Chase.
