Similar to this quote-
There’s a saying in Germany. If there’s a Nazi at the table and ten other people sitting there talking to him, you got a table with eleven Nazis.
― Regina Jackson, White Women: Everything You Already Know About Your Own Racism and How to Do Better
In all fairness, the article says the Nazi flag boat was hosed down when they tried to join the parade.
It still says a lot that our political climate let them think this was okay, but the people at the rally were not okay with it, or at least weren’t okay being that obvious.
Saw a video this, and yeah, not all Trump followers are Nazis. Also, it is true that all Nazis are Trump followers, so the Venn diagram of these fan bases where one includes the other makes the cartoon accurate.
Its fucking wild how nazis and those losers with the weird looking Scottish pattern flag, sorry, not aware of some loser’s history, is the image they picked.
I would think twice before wanting to be associated with those losers.
Antifa is a term for far-left groups that resist facists [sp] and neo-Nazis.
Imagine thinking being against fascism is far left. Good to know that Newsweek has bought into MAGA’s bullshit.
That’s the best drawing of elon (on the, ahem, far right) I’ve seen.
I definitely see him on the left side of this picture, but his public statements are mostly on the right side, I guess.
literally*
Litter-ally might be more accurate.
I don’t know if this is universal, but all the people I know who consider themselves antifa in Connecticut also actually consider themselves far-left (anarchists or some variety of communists, mostly), myself included. I’d love it if liberals would take part, but I don’t know any self-described Democrats or moderates who do.
It is often far left. Not because opposition to Nazis is but because willingness to spill nazi blood without government permission is
That said, all are welcome to fight Nazis. They’d take fucking George Bush if he wanted to get one of Richard Spencer’s teeth embedded in his fist
Hands down I’d respect Bush if I saw him kick the shit out of a nazi
He won’t even say he’s not voting for one, but yeah if he got into a street fight with one I’d think that he actually believed in something
Have some feel good content
To be fair, the name Antifa is used pretty much exclusively by radical anti-authoritarian left groups.
The libs don’t organise into black blocs to beat up fascists, they write to their congressman to ask for stricter hate speech laws.
The tankies, despite creating the first group to call itself AFA, don’t participate in them much in the modern day because they try to subordinate such things to their party, which goes against the decentralized ethos of what most people call Antifa.
This leaves anarchists, libcoms, and a small smattering of demsocs and Trots. Thus it is completely fair to refer to “Antifa” as a left-wing phenomenon.
Yeah, Newsweek is horseshoe theory bullshit incarnate.
They even have a thing at the bottom of most political articles all but declaring that centrism is the ultimate fairness! 🤦
And it won’t cost him any votes either.
Is everyone now clear how the Holocaust happened?
Well anyone who votes for him after hearing him vow to bring back concentration camps as such were used on people of Japanese ancestry in the U.S… I’m going to say is either completely facist or can’t comprehend anything beyond, “he tells us who to hate and which people are bad, and I blindly trust him”
Wait until you hear about the Alaskan concentration camps.
This a thing?
I read about this in the history book How to Hide an Empire: A History of the Greater United States.
We’re still on the early stages…
We haven’t gotten to the “good gays” yet.
The sign shown says “My pillow, $14:88” 14:88 as pretty much everyone knows by now is a white supremacist meme. In the video they say “sieg heil, heil Trump” which sounds a bit over the top to me. Like you’d think they’d be aware that nazis are unpopular and aren’t doing Trump any favors…
Of course I considered that these might be pranksters pretending to be nazis, but they just seem a little too into the bit. One of the guys on the boat has a German nazi t-shirt (probably rather hard to buy/get printed nowadays) and another has a “moms for liberty” shirt, an organization very closely tied to the GOP. I mean they really committed to it if they are pranksters. I think more likely these people are actual nazis, and particularly dumb ones at that.
Other Trump supporters were heard shouting, “too soon!”
One of the men on board appeared to be holding an image of Mike Lindell, CEO of the My Pillow company. Lindell, who is a well-known Trump supporter, recently hit back against claims that his product pricing was inadvertently linked to neo-Nazi propaganda.
INADVERNTLY?! Fuck off. It was $14.88, he knew goddamn well EXACTLY what he was doing.
Friendly reminder that Call of Duty made nazi zombies a game because while killing zombies is always ok because they’re already mindless monsters, making them nazis made them even more fun to kill.
I was already having fun in 92 turning nazis into Swiss cheese in W3D
“Get psyched!” well of course, it’s nazi killing time
Damn, just one short of resurrecting the dead…
I’ve been playing some COD for the last month or so, after about 10 years away.
It’s absolutely astounding to me the number of idiots that the game attracts. In my experience, the odds of joining a game where at least one person doesn’t have a [TRUMP] clan tag is about zero. Yesterday I saw someone whose name was along the lines of [USA]TRUMPWON. For a game that has traditionally included killing Nazis, the people at Activision clearly don’t give a shit about actual fascism.
Obviously.
Wow, I’m so shocked!..
How do we get back to #MNSA?*
* Make Nazis Scared Again
They love flying the flags of losers
They don’t give a flying fuck about games. They’re letting you know what they’re about to do.
But of course the left are the real nazis for wanting queer people to be accepted into society.
It’s one thing that these chucklefucks show up. Knuckle-draging jerks like this are always going be lurking somewhere, but what people in charge do about it is far more important, IMO. The lack of response from GOP leadership is the part that really gets me riled up; by saying and doing nothing they’re saying everything very loudly.
Meanwhile, we’ve had things like this where the (Texas GOP) party leadership was split on a vote to not associate with these assholes:
https://www.texastribune.org/2023/12/02/texas-gop-antisemitism-resolution/
What I dislike about this is that what was on the table were “holocaust deniers” and “Nazis.” So even with the most minimal definition of “people problematic to our brand” they couldn’t kick them out.
Keep on losing, losers!
They haven’t lost yet…
I meant like the Civil War, the World Wars, January 6th… all the same type of people.
Yeah, they haven’t lost yet. They’re still out there.
They lost the war. Doesn’t change even if their ideology still exists.
So Nazis are by definition losers.
They are like a weed that has taken root and keeps coming back. I always argue that perseverance is victory and them still being around is a slap to the face to everyone globally that died to remove them.
