The idea is that you should probs talk to someone around to find out who has the best deal/strongest gear that day. Neil knew everyone, so I usually asked him first.
He said he could score for me and my mate.
Now usually it’s insanity to give someone cash and wait for them to come back but Neil is a fucking icon of Victoria Street. And he’s skin and bones.
Big surprise, he tried to rip us off.
We ran around the area looking for him, asking everyone and of course, everyone knows Neil.
We ended up chasing him up and down hoddle Street for about half an hour until he eventually fell over from exhaustion lol
If you can learn abseiling window washing can be quite well paid. Great job for an introvert, just you, a bucket, a squeegie and a really long way down.
My dad told me that I should hurry up and get a full time job or I’ll be washing windows on Punt Rd.

Royal Parade is shadier, and there’s median strips which could make the process safer. You could offer to clean the side mirrors too maybe.
