God doesn’t make mistakes, but he needed to flood the Earth to fix his human mistake in Genesis. He placed the fruit of knowledge in the Garden of Eden which he used as an excuse to kick Adam and Eve out for consuming.
He forgot to book a place for his son to be born hence the manger. Then he needed to his son to prove a point and he ended up getting crucified. Unless you are a biblical bootlicker it is clear he made a shit ton of mistakes.

Why did god make gay animals. Why did it make pedophiles. Why did it allow the Holocaust. These along with a billion other questions makes it clear Christianity has no understanding of their god or its reasonings.
It only looks like “a mistake” if you’re homophobic.
