I made a similar flavor combination the other way around once. At the time I sometimes used a Keurig to make coffee and then again to make instant oatmeal. I thought it would be funny to come up with the shitty life hack of combining them into one process. I had to actually try it once, partly out of curiosity of how bad it could be, and partly to get a picture to post my “genius” idea on r/shittylifehacks.

It was bad. Not “I might throw up” levels of bad, but eating it was just such a slog. I wasn’t willing to waste a perfectly edible bowl of oatmeal for a joke, so I soldiered on through a very unsatisfying breakfast. Annoyingly, I didn’t even have a cup of coffee to wash it down with.

The dumbest part is that after going through all that, I never actually got around to making the post, and stopped participating on reddit a couple years ago now.

If I understand correctly, the result of this process was coffee-flavored oatmeal, with no cream or sugar?

I also do this, by pouring hothothot coffee over some oats to soften them. It’s a lot better if you add something sweet, though, like dates, coconut cream, maple syrup, etc.
