Unless you’re referring to the Broken Sun Cross. No they didn’t. They used manja symbols. But no the “Swastika” which was referred to as the Hakenkreuz was only ever on an angle.

There are some Nazi symbols that omit the circle on the page you linked. In heraldry, and the 1939 iron cross. But I think it’s a very strong rule of thumb

Nope, both were displayed - the angled version was more common, but both forms of Hakenkreuz were used by the NSDAP.
