Sooooooooooo much produce comes from Mexico. Antagonizing them can literally only make things worse for your grocery bill. There is no upside for your average person.

yes but emphasis on the “cleric” part. not as much of a nightmare for the people who order the clerks to do it.

As a Canadian I’m not staying out of your politics anymore. The US electorate can go fuck themselves.

A lot of those trucks were rented.

Most of them were just abandoned.

What self respecting trucker is just giving up their truck?

I always gotta suggest Etsy when the opportunity arises. Nothing exactly like this that I can find on there, but close enough.

Just gotta make sure you double check the sticker count and material, otherwise you’re paying extra for one single vinyl sticker.

As much as I’d like to throw all that back in their faces too, I feel like it’s a pretty childish way to express a political opinion by defacing someone else’s property with them and just having low wage workers have to scrape them off of whatever they’re on every day.

I’m tired of being “better than that” and getting kicked in the teeth. The left needs to start using the reds’ tactics. It’s the only thing they understand.

I agree, I’m tired of it too, but I don’t want to see a million of trump’s stupid face staring at me when I get gas and it just creates more work for people who aren’t paid well to begin with while making our society look worse aesthetically.

I mean, he just asked the Supreme Court to block his sentencing for all the felonies he was found guilty from.

He also is having his pet judge try to block the release of the reports on the other crimes he committed but wasn’t prosecuted for.

His cabinet picks for one thing

Their nomination is not secured and already had Matt Gatez drop out because of enough backlash

They don’t want focused backlash to make it happen for others

He has stated many times, on video, that he wants to be dictator for a day to enact extreme policies. I recommend you read up on Project 2025 if you haven’t already.

At the moment, I think he wants to distract from his legal battles, the infighting on H1B visas, and from what government agencies he is planning on gutting. He will likely try to completely change the scope of or destroy: the EPA, DOJ, IRS, and the department of education. The chaos now is just a little taste to get us ramped up.

I think he will be unable to fulfill his campaign promises of lowering inflation, especially if tariffs are enacted. He will be able to use distractions to explain why no progress is being made on that front (and/or by throwing Biden under the bus, which has already begun)

Yeah he doesn’t want the world seeing that he is begging the SCOTUS to make rules not apply to not-yet-presidents and 34 felony convictions shouldn’t count to gonna-be-in-charge-guy.

It’s not a stunt, it’s total megalomania and you are falling for the coping tactic of pretending he’s not serious in his literal statement to expand the borders of the US north and south.

None of this is new. Trump repeatedly brought up buying greenland during the first term when it was a suitable distraction from some other issue

Focus more on his actions, less on his words. If you focus only on his words you’ll miss the bigger picture and miss what he really intends to do

If you focus on every single one as gospel you’ll be tripped up both ways. He is a walking contradiction of statements

In his first term he told North Korea there’d be “fire and fury like the world has never seen” and then the next minute was cosying up to him in a summit

He says anything and everything. He is certainly expansionist don’t get me wrong, but focusing on individual statements will lose you the picture of where he is serious and where he isn’t

Focus on who he appointments, what actions they take, what executive orders he signs, what he does with the military, etc.

Maybe you are, but the media tends to only hold on to a few things at a time. He wants to make it his stupid things like “Gulf of America” instead of “Gulf of Mexico” take up that spot. Not his insane pick for departments, not his plans for cutting social security, etc.

Authoritarian leaders do this all the time. They’ll even use it to hide their actual expansionist plans. They’ll threaten all kinds of people that they have no real intention of doing anything to so that actual military movments are drowned out as just noise

We have to be much more strategic about when we raise hell otherwise you’ll appear to be the boy who cried wolf and won’t be taken seriously. We can’t be at defcon 1 at all times or it loses all meaning

This might be hard for you to hear, but you can’t control what other people focus on and your strategy is stupid and bad.

Nothing will stop people from disregarding the people who raise hell. Raise hell anyway.
